The Sanzu is the Bhuddist version Styx apparently.
For those of you not versed in Greek Mythology, Styx is the borderline between the underworld and the living world.
Phlegyas is the condemned ferryman that passes souls across the river.
Of course this photo doesn't have much to do with it all, but one can see the obvious connotations.
This is in China, Guilin.. the River with all the huge ass weird mountain things.. breathtaking sights.
